Educational Foundation of the Chesters

Mission Statement
Our mission is to enhance the quality and breadth of education in the Chester public schools by obtaining funding from a variety of sources to provide students, teachers, and administrators with opportunities to develop and maintain innovative programs that will enrich the learning experiences of all Chester students to encourage them to reach their fullest potential in a rapidly changing world.

Funding:

  • Funded approximately $52,455 in 2008-2009 to projects that support education and academic excellence for students at the Dickerson, Bragg and Black River Schools.
  • Foundation will try to fund projects that meet our criteria during times when the Board of Ed is unable to due to budget constraints.

  • Continual funding is essential to the survival of the Foundation. Without which, future financial support for projects/ programs would wane and deter from enhancing the education of our children.
