United Way/Corporate Giving

The Educational Foundation gratefully accepts contributions via the United Way or Corporate Giving Contributions.  Please consider directing your donations via these organizations to the Educational Foundation of the Chesters.

United Way and other Corporate Giving Programs allow you to direct your donation to the Educational Foundation.  In this way, your contributed dollars come back to the Chester community to fund programs aimed at enriching education in our schools.

In prior years, designation of the Educational Foundation in  pledges enabled us to rececive almost $13,000, all of which is now available to fund creative and innovative programs and technology in the Chester public schools.

The Educational Foundation is designated as a United Way agency with many local United Way organizations.  When you fill out your pledge form, please include the following information pertaining to the Foundation:

In addition to providing our organization’s name,  United Way of Tri-State continues to require our identification number, 017478.  A list of the UW of Morris County’s participating corporations is included below.  If your company is not listed, please contact your Payroll department to see how you can target the Educational Foundation of the Chesterswith pre-tax donations.

We also receive contributions from other corporate giving programs including PSE&G, AT&T, Bristol Myers Squibb, and America’s Charities (Exxon & Mobil). Once again, just check your company’s corporate giving program to see whether you can direct your dollars to the Educational Foundation.

After the Educational Foundation is designated as the recipient of your donation, please let us know of your contribution by leaving an email message with Linda Modica at info@educationalfoundationofthechesters.org.  Please include your name, your company’s name, the name of the charitable organization through which you are donating, and the total dollar amount of your pledge. If you have any questions,please contact Linda Modica at 908.879.2129.

Without any additional work on your part, your donation will come back to the Educational Foundation to be used to benefit our schools!  Please remember that many companies will match your United Way or Corporate Giving donations, allowing you to make an even larger contribution to our community when you direct your dollars to the Foundation!
